I love to paint every day and I strive to bring my paintings to
light and to life. I set up a blog as a diary of my progress. In the
process I have studied with the worlds best painters working
today.“Creating big worlds with little brushes is a gas and I hope you
enjoy them as much as I enjoyed painting them.” Some of my paintings
are in galleries. I like to think that I am out here at the beach,
kickin' back for all you good folks that can't.I have been a resident
of The Outer Banks since 1987. I grew up in the glacial lakes region of South Dakota. I make mention of this in case you wonder why a guy living in a resort beach community paints sheep. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor of science degree in landscape architecture. I have practiced as a landscape architect. In September of 2007 I picked up a paint brush and started painting. Now I can't imagine doing anything else. I am self taught with the brushesbut I had some great professors in Texas teach me about design and composition.
I'm just like you. I've got DNA.
I do not accept commissions, but I am available for children's parties and funerals.
